Mrs. Young was a native of Prague, Oklahoma. She lived in Ceres forty-eight years.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the western Bohemian Fraternal Association. She was a fifty year member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was also a veteran of the Women's Army Corps, serving in 1943.
She is survived by her son, Vernon; brother, George Cerny; and two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at Fresno Memorial Gardens, Fresno.
