Addie Geneva Joyce, 95, of 83 Fourth St., Fieldale, died Monday, July 5, 2004, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
She was born in Henry County on June 4, 1909, to George Payton Pace and Lula Belle Thompson Pace.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clyde Joyce; a sister, Vera Weaver; and four brothers, Herbert Pace, Emory Pace, Ramey Pace and Willard Pace.
She retired from Fieldcrest Mills and was a member of Fieldale Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, C. Douglas Joyce of Collinsville; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held graveside at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roselawn Burial Park with Dr. Joe Bryant officiating.
The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Services chapel from 1 p.m. until time for the funeral Thursday.
