Married Walter E. Carr on 25 Jun 1893 in Commerce, Hunt, TX.
--by Brown/Belobraydic 2004

Mrs. Addie Lou Emma Carr, the wife of Walter Carr, died Tuesday April 22nd at her home near South Sulphur. Mrs. Carr was thirty-nine years, three months and fifteen days old. She was a good woman and leaves a husband and four children, five brothers and a host of friends to mourn her death. Mrs Carr was a member of the Baptist church, her membership being at Scatter Branch. May God help those dear children and husband to live an upright life, as their dear mother did and may they submit to the will of God and think that God doeth all things well. Of course these children cannot see why mother was taken from them. Neither can their many friends, but our true Father above can only see. He maketh us and taketh us as He see fit to take. Dear husband and children, we know your home is lonesome without mama, but strive to live a christian life as your mother did and meet her. Be ready when God calls for you. Mr. Carr and children have many friends who sympathize with them in their sorrow. A Friend.
