Frances Kinn died peacefully in her home in Petaluma, CA on Friday morning, March 9, 2012 at the age of 92 with her family by her side. She was born January 26, 1920 in Manti, Utah. She was a graduate of Utah State. She moved to San Francisco in 1948 to continue her career with United Airlines. Here she met the love of her life, Howard Kinn, and were married December 9, 1950 at St. Brigid's Church. They were married for over 45 years and had four children: Joe Kinn, Jim (Gayle) Kinn, Kathi (Terry) Berardino, and Sally Kinn. Frances lived her life with grace, kindness, and love. She continued to teach sewing and tailoring up until last May, where she shared her passion with many long time loving "students" (The Golden Girls). She was a member of the Women's Church Club, Book Club, and Bridge Club. Frances was a loving Mother, Grandmother, relative, friend, and neighbor and will be missed by all. She is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St James Church in Petaluma on March 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow. The family respectfully requests donations be made to Hospice or in lieu of flowers.
