Married to Alice (or Klinger?) Brown, divorced sometime in the 1920's and lived at 515 E. Colfax Ave at the time of his death. He was a retired painter and had lived in South Bend for about 55 years. There were two daughters, Alberta Rookstool and Ollie Rosenthal. Henry was one of eleven children. Six of his siblings and both parents are buried in New Buffalo, MI at Pine Grove. The other four siblings are buried in Michigan City, IN at Greenview. The family name was Pflughaupt, which Henry adjusted to Pluehoff. Although Pluehoff appears on his grave marker, I found a WW II draft registration card where he spelled it Pluehaff.
