Nadine was born June 24, 1939, in Garvin, Okla., to Bryan Clay and Jewel Clay. In 1956 she married the love of her life, Travis B. Stephenson, and for the next 55 years they had a lifetime of wonderful memories.
She is survived by her six daughters: Beverley Zimdars (husband Harry), Aileen Morrison (husband Mike), Cindy Barajas (husband Jacinto), Julie Butler (Todd), Karen Galvan (husband Robert) and Lisa Stephenson; grandchildren: Megan, Jarrod, Ashley, Adam, Travis, Amanda, Kali, Cassandra, Cheyanne and Trevor; great-grandchildren: Daniel, Lea, Sean, Angelina, Olin and Melanie. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally. She is also survived by three sisters, Helen, Kathryn and Pat (husband Gary), as well as her honorary daughters, Kristin Reneau, Nancy SooHoo, and Tracy SooHoo. She was also preceded in death by her mother, father and brothers.
Nadine liked to crochet, sew, cook, sing and listen to music. Mom will be missed by all of her family. May you rest in peace with your sweetheart - Dance, Dance, Dance. Read: Proverbs 31.
Visitation will take place 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, also at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, with The Reverend Dan Hull officiating. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
