My Dad's Uncle Louie was the youngest of six children of William and Matilda (Pigeon) Warner. The Sanilac Co. birth register shows that he was born at Worth. However, F.A.G. has Worth listed as in Arenac Co. Family records show that he was born at Lexington. When he decided to become a doctor, the family thought he'd lost his marbles. But, they did support him in the endeavor.

While in medical school, he became good friends with another student named Treasure. She was killed in a car crash. He named his first daughter after her.

On December 19, 1909 in Standish, Michigan, he married Lovina Amelia Sweetman, whose family had the farm across the road from his parents. He had known doctors' wives who worried about the fidelity of their husbands with their nurses and office staff. He didn't want his wife to feel this way, so employed her in his office.

They had three children: Wilfred, Treasure, and Doris.
