Leo C. Schultz (1939-2010)


NASHUA — Leo Carl Schultz, 71, of Nashua, died Wednesday, June 23, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

He was born Feb. 14, 1939, in Chickasaw County, son of Albert J. and Catherine Biretz Schultz. He married Connie Marzen on March 6, 2004, in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Schultz served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1967. He owned his own construction company and also worked as a mechanic.

Survived by: his wife; a daughter, Erin (Brian) Claeys of Iowa City; and two brothers, Paul of Rockford and Andrew (Lesley) of Albuquerque, N.M.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Fred.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, with inurnment at a later date. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
