Edna was the oldest child of William "Harry" and Annie Olive Maguire. She married Henry A. Warburton on October 23, 1907, at the Old Trinity Church, Church Creek, Maryland and they lived in Elkton, Maryland. Her mother died in 1908 and her father was unable to take care of their children, so a number of her brothers and sisters lived with Edna who became a surrogate mother..and a good one. In addition, she had four children of her own...Henry (1908-1970), William (1910-2000), Helen (1914), and Richard (1916-1998).
