Harold "Bogie" Borgert Sr.

BORGERT, HAROLD SR. "BOGIE" - Age 86, of Jackson, passed away at Allegiance Health June 27, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, LaMoine (Lee) E.; two children, Gene (Diana) Borgert and Vicki Pawluck; stepdaughter, Sherry Graves; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his son, Harold Junior Borgert Jr. and brother Eugene Borgert. He retired after 31 years as a Supervisor with the Department of Corrections Print Shop, was an Army Veteran of World War II, past commander of American Legion Post #29 and was an avid golfer, bowler and sports fan. Mr. Borgert has been cremated. Interment with full military honors will be held July 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions are directed to the Jackson County Veterans Van Fund, 1715 Lansing Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202.
