Ted was the son of John Calvin "Jay" & Eldora Alberta [Lewis] White, late of Brownfield Terry County Texas, they are buried at the Brownfield Cemetery in that county. He was the grandson of Thomas Monroe & Marthia Olivia [Harris] White, of Maud Bowie County Texas, they are buried at the Center Ridge Cemetery in Maud TX.

Norval Ted L White graduated from Brownfield High School in 1943, attended College at Texas Technolgical College in Lubbock Texas.

After college Ted enlisted in the US Navy during WWII, was a radar operater aboard the USS Geneva, a Troop Transporter. This Journey took him all over the South Pacific, and was at Okinawa at the wars end.

He married to Mary Beth in 1949.

Ted & Mary had 4 children.

After the war, Ted, went into a succcessful busines career, working for financial institutions, this career took him all over the world, for 26 years. Ted retired in 1991, and he and his family moved to Houston Texas, where they remained the rest of his life.
