Elton Odell Teague, 88 of Denton, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Atrium. He was born May 22, 1923 in Holder, Brown County, Texas to William Henry and Rachel (Jones) Teague. He was married to Dasilee Grimes in May of 1948, who preceded him in death. He retired from the Purchasing Department of the University Of North Texas and before that worked tor General Telephone for 19 years. He attended Denton Bible Church. He served in the U S Army from 1942 to 1946.Mr. Teague is survived by a daughter Glenda Curry of Mandeville, LA and sons Glenn D. Teague of Denton, and Gary Teague of Garland, a sister Juanita Bush of Lewisville, and a brother T. J. Teague of Whitesboro, and Twenty One Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.

A visitation will be 7 to 8 pm Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, with Rev. San Redfearn, officiating.
