Frank was the son of Mathias Minikus b. 1796 in Prussia. His mother was Catharine Klares also born in Prussia. He came to America in 1852 with his brothers and sisters. They lived in Otsego Co New York before coming to Iowa.He married Martha Herrick. Frank was a farmer.Frank had a son named Mathias also. He was born in July 29 1859 and died Oct 28 1936,he is buried in Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis Minn.
