Chester D. Reed
Chester D. Reed, aged 46 years, Dudley, Huntingdon County, died at the Lewistown Hospital Tuesday morning, 1 o'clock, of a complication of diseases. He was a medical patient at the local hospital for about one week.
The deceased was a son of William W. and Catherine (Doneldson) Reed. His mother is dead and his father is a resident of Dudley. these two brothers and two sisters survive him: William W. Reed Jr., and Warren H. Reed, coal operators, both of Dudley, and Mrs. Ada R. Hanawalt, of 612 (Curtis?) Street, Harrisburg, and Mrs. Freeman Melloy, of Mifflintown, wife of the principal of the Mifflintown public schools.
The deceased was a merchant in Dudley. The body was taken in charge by W. A. Barr, undertaker, and conveyed overland Wednesday morning to Dudley, where the funeral services will be conducted today at 1:30 o'clock at the home of the father of the deceased. The burial will be made in the Methodist Cemetery, Dudley.
