Warren H. Reed
Warren H. Reed, operator of the W. H. Reed & Son Coal Company, Dudley, passed away at his home in Dudley on Thursday morning, July 13, 1961 at 10:15 o'clock. He had been ill for six months prior to his death.
Born on October 4, 1878 at Dudley, Mr. Reed was a son of William W. and Catherine A. (Donelson) Reed. He married Eleanor (Nell) Fox at Altoona on November 2, 1926.
Mr. Reed belonged to the Methodist Church of Dudley.
Surviving in addition to his widow are one son, Thomas J. Reed of Dudley; one brother, William W. Reed of Dudley, and one sister, Mrs. Ada Reed Hanawalt of Harrisburg. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
The funeral will take place Sunday, July 16, at 2 p.m. from the Methodist Church in Dudley with the Rev. Paul D. Marsden of Dudley, officiating. Interment will be made in the Methodist Cemetery, Dudley.
Friends will be received at the Masood funeral chapel after 7 p.m. tonight till 11 a.m. on Sunday and after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.
