Lucille Hendershot Woodburn, 96, of Wheeling, WV., died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Liza's Place, Wheeling.

She was born December 19, 1914 in Malaga, OH the daughter of the late Harvey D. and Louise Leach Hendershot. She was Valedictorian graduate of Beallsville High School, Beallsville,OH.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she was a valunteer and a member of the women's group and the JOY group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Woodburn in 1973; two brothers, Wilfred Hendershot, Donald Hendershot; two sisters, Virginia Norman and Jeannette Gates.

Surviving are her children, Jane Costanzao (Lou) of Dallas, WV, Jack Woodburn (Michelle) of Severn, MD and Jim Woodburn (Donna) of Dallas,WV; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received at Christ United Methodist Church, on National Road, on Friday, November 4th and then on Saturday, November 5th until the time of service at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Dr. Timothy J. Allen and the Reverend Margie Carr officiation.
