Daughter of Hiram Rolland and Daisy (Edwards) Ross.
Graduate of Senath High School.
Survived by two daughters: Nancy Ann Stillman and Sandy Lee Smith; two sons: Jack W. Rollins and John Ross Rollins; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Naomi Irene Ross, 81, of Kennett, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at her home. Born Jan. 18, 1930, in Cotton Plant, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Hiram Rolland and Daisy Edwards Ross.

Mrs. Ross was a graduate of Senath High School and had been a long-time area resident. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett, Mo., where she served as a former Sunday school teacher and choir member as well as pianist and organist for revivals and funeral services.

Mrs. Ross was retired from the Kennett Nutrition Center where she was a dietary manager and director for 15 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Ann Still of Jonesboro, Ark., and Sandy Lee Smith of Kennett, Mo.; two sons, Jack W. Rollins of Kennett, Mo., and Jon Ross Rollins of Jonesboro, Ark. Mrs. Ross also leaves eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday Oct., 24,2011 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett, Mo., with Rev. Don Sheerin officiating.

Burial was in the Dunklin County Memorial Gardens in Kennett with Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Ark., in charge of arrangements. The family received visitors Monday from 11:00 until time of service at the church.
