Anna was a remarkable lady in every way. before her hundredth birthday, she asked her doctor what she would die of. He told her he didn't know because there was nothing wrong with her. Mentally, she could out do people 30-50 years her junior!
Anna married twice, outliving both husbands. Her first husband was Russell Maddy, who died in 1954. They had three children: Lloyd Maddy (1924-1995), State Senator Ken Maddy (1934-2000) and a daughter, who is living.
Her second husband was Roy Thomas, who died in 1966.
Anna loved flowers and would take her mother fresh flowers. Whenever I see a beautiful arrangement, I think of her.
Besides her daughter, she leaves a daughtr-in-law, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves a void in the lives of friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, to name a few. However, we can't be sad for Anna is with her beloved parents, siblings, husbands and sons surrounded by God's love. And one day, we will join her there.
