Everett E. Trimble, 74, of 1405
New Hampshire St., Muscatine, died
at 2 p.m. today at Muscatine Gen-
eral Hospital after an extended
illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30
p.m. Friday at the Ralph J. Wit-
tich Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Gil-
lett will officiate. Burial will
be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation wil begin after 10 a.m.
Thursday.
Born at Allerton, Iowa, Aug. 12,
1897, he was a son of Edward and
Maude Bradley Trimble. He had re-
sided here 35 years.
Everett Trimble married the former
Josie Donald, Jan. 20, 1920 at
Corydon, Iowa. He was of Baptist
faith. Mr. Trimble was a retired
railroad telegraph operator.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs.
Josie Trimble at home;, a son,
Donald Trimble of Muscatine; a
sister, Mrs. Mabek Greenfield of
Des Moines; six grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, one brother, two sisters
and a daughter.
