Dr. Johnson's Rites at Potosi

Tuscola, March 18 - Funeral for Dr. Walter F. Johnson 73, Naturopathic physician of Tuscola, is to be held in The Potosi Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Officiating will be the Rev. Mack Richardson of Abilene, retired Pastor, assisted by the Rev. Hollis Yeilding, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church in Abilene.

Fry Funeral Home will direct burial in Potosi Cemetery.

Dr. Johnson died at 12:50 a.m. Friday after several months' illness. He had been a Tuscola resident since 1934.

He was born June 2, 1881 in Limestone County. He moved to Taylor County in 1900 with his family, settling near Potosi. He was a member of the State Association of Naturopathic Physicians.

Dr. Johnson is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Allmand of Ovalo, Mrs. S. B. McCormick of Bisbee, Ariz. and Mrs. G. E. Jackson of Lowell, Ariz.; four sons. W. C. Johnson of Lowell, Ariz., W. B. Johnson, Abilene fireman, Chestley Johnson of Tuscola, and Raymond Johnson of Bisbee, Ariz; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lawrence Johnson of Benjamin, Tom Johnson of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Charlie Johnson of Tioga, Grayson County; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Webb of Abilene.

Nephews will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramie Stewart of Lawn, Leon Walker and Walter Allmand of Ovalo, Earl Hagin, Gus McCormick and F. B. Betterton of Tuscola.
