Mrs. Anna Jensen, 71, resident of Idaho Falls since 1923, died at her home early Friday evening following a lingering illness.

She was born Jan. 5, 1882, at Weston, Idaho, the daughter of John Henry and Anna Christina Jensen. She received her education at Weston. On Feb. 3, 1902, she was married to Nels Peter Jensen at Logan Utah. They lived in Weston until they moved to Rexburg in 1919. In 1923 they moved to Idaho Falls. He preceded her in death Dec. 13, 1937.

She was a member of the LDS Church, especially active in the Relief Society, where she was in the presidency and was a work director. She is a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Mina Williams, Los Angeles; Mrs. Myrtle Hall, Idaho Falls; Odell Jensen, Lima, Mont.; Andrew Jensen, Idaho Falls; Mrs. LaRie Wadquist, Idaho Falls; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers and sisters, Hen Jensen, Nyssa, Ore.; Mrs. Emma Crockett, Glens Ferry; Mrs. Celia Hall, Glens Ferry; Lawrence Jensen, Eden; Alfred Jensen, Twin Falls; Fred Jensen, Tooele, Utah; LaVon Jensen, Toole, Utah and Albert Jensen, Weston.
