DALTON, HUBERT STANLEY - age 79 of Washburn, was called home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2011, after a short battle with cancer. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Judy "Munsey" Dalton; father and mother, Walter B. and Sarah Jane Dalton; infant brother, Fernley Dalton, brother, Aaron "Boot" Dalton, and sister, Thelma Collins. Survivors include son Stanley and wife Tracy Dalton; daughter Cynthia and husband Tony Williams all of Washburn; and daughter, Loretta and husband Steve Metcalf of Bulls Gap; grandchildren, Andrea and husband Bradley Spoone, Adam Dalton, Tiffany, Priscilla, and "lil" Tony Williams all of Washburn, Daniel and Sonny Lawson, Stephanie Metcalf and step grandchildren, Chris and Brandon Metcalf; and one step great grandson Mason Metcalf all of Bulls Gap; brothers, Bedford and Shirley Dalton of Bean Station, Bernace Dalton; sisters, Reba Wilmoth and Stelmo Branson all of Washburn. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Central View American Christian Church with Rev. Tony Williams, Rev. Jerry Epperson, and Rev. Doug Atkins officiating. Interment to follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Dalton, Verlin Dalton, Michael Dalton, Wesley Dalton, Bernard Vittitoe, and Gary Blankenship; honorary pallbearers will be Junior Waller, Jody Dalton, and Randall Collins.
