Livia Lorena Smith, a daughter of Ben Whitfield Smith, Sr. and the former Miss Ida Julia Klyce, was married to Grady Hill Gaston; with whom she had three daughters Jean Bentley, Virginia Ruth and Livia Gaston. An infant daughter was born in 1929, but died shortly after her birth.
