Gallatin Pioneer Dies at His Home Near Willow Creek
Bozeman, Dec. 31--Francis M. Williams, age 65, a pioneer who came to Gallatin county from Utah in 1864, died at his home near Willow Creek this morning after an illness of a few days. He has been engaged in farming for more than a half century in the valley and is survived by his wife, formerly Lucinda Nevins, to whom he was married at Willow Creek in 1887; by six children, all living near home, exept a married daughter in Bozeman; and by six grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Willow Creek on Monday.
