Courtney Rites
Oklahoma News Bureau GRANT, Okla. — Funeral services for A. R. Courtney, 82. were held at Grant Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon by the pastor, the Rev. Leroy Hogue. Burial in New Haven Cemetery near Clarksville, Tex., was made by Coffey Funeral Home, Hugo.
Mr. Courtney,, operator of the Roebuck Lake concession stand, died in his sleep at home in Grant Sunday morning.
Survivors are these children: Mrs. Ethel Wortham, Detroit, Tex.; Mrs. Omie Ward, Marysville, Calif.; Mrs. Zelma Hamm, Bisbee, Ariz., and Earl Courtney, San Jose, Calif.; 22 grandchildren, 21 great - grandchildren and two sisters,. Mrs. Jennie Brown, Vernon, Tex., and Mrs. Ella Zeimer, San Francisco. Calif.
