MILFORD MAN KILLED AS AUTO TURNS TURTLE
Arthur J. Canon Is Pinned Beneath Machine in Brookfield

Arthur J. Canon, 41, of South Milford, was instantly killed when the automobile in which he was riding turned turtle at May's corner near Brookfield Center about 2 o'clock yesterday morning. The car is owned and was driven by Lyle W. Taylor of Tyringham. The glare of the searchlight of a motorcycle coming up from behind blinded Mr. Taylor. The automobile turned up a bank and overturned. Raymond W. Taylor, also of Tyringham, was in the car, and all the occupants were pinned beneath it. William D. Kelleher of 87 Howard street, this city, was riding the motorcyle.

Dr. Mary H. Sherman, who lives near by, was summoned to the scene of the accident and she notified Medical Examiner Charles A. Deland of Warren. Neither of the Taylors, who are brothers, was injured. Mr. Canon was their cousin. He is survived by a widow and three children. The body was removed to Milford.
