MRS. INA BARNETT DIES AT WANCHESE - Mrs. Ina Midgett Barnett, 50, wife of W.B. Barnett of Wanchese, died at her home Sunday night at 8:00 following a long illness.

Mrs. Barnett was a native and lifelong resident of Dare County. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Forbes Midgett and the late Apolos Midgett of Manteo.

She is survived by her husband; her mother; four daughters: Mrs. Madeline Basnight of Norfolk, Mrs. Hilda Outlaw, Mrs. Mary Ept and Miss Almeda Barnett, all of Wanchese; four sisters: Mrs. T.G. Dowdy of Manteo, Mrs. Thomas Layden and Mrs. Percy McGinnis of Boston, Mass., and Mrs. Annie Arey of New York City; three brothers: Lance Midgett of Boston, Mahlon Midgett and Dallas Midgett of Manteo; 4 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 at the Assembly of God Church with Rev. L.V. Pierce officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
