BOONEVILLE – Betty Sue Bishop Turvaville, 71, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident. She was born March 21, 1941, to Jack and Rachel Downs Bishop. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Mark McCoy and Bro. Pete McCoy officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by one sister, Martha "Polly" Robinson of Booneville; her son-in-law, Keith Hatfield; one granddaughter, Morgan Michelle Hatfield of Booneville; one grandson, Trenton Brock Hatfield of Booneville; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Bishop, Geneva Bishop and Inez (Frank) Wilson, all of Rienzi; and one brother-in-law, P.D. Thornton of Booneville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Trenton Turvaville; her parents; one daughter, Becky Ann Turvaville Hatfield; three sisters, Inez Williams, Hazel Isbel and Nellie Murphy Thornton; and five brothers, Aaron, George, Victor, Eugene and Milton Bishop. Two sisters-in-law Joyce Bishop; and Vera Bishop. Three brothers-in-law; L. W. Robinson; A. V. Murphy; and Clyde Isbell.
