He married his wife Martha Elizabeth Deane on Sept. 30, 1845 in Henrico Co., VA.

Charles H. Langley was a "Tinner". He made almost anything of metal, including buttons and other uniform accoutrements for the army. His shop was last noted to be located in 13th Street, Lombardy Alley, between Main and Cary streets in Richmond.
