In 1960 he married Harriet Ross, who survives him with three sons, S.C. Burch, W.M. Burch and Albert Burch and two daughters, Miss Gertrude Burch and Mrs. Clifford Talbot, all of Ilion. He leaves also a brother, Orlo Burch and a half brother, Chester Burch of Hartwick.
His son, Alfred Ulysses Burch died July 19, 1943 in Ilion.
