A.C. Marshall, 89, of Denton, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2011. He was born on December 22, 1921 in Fredrick, OK to Dumas and Clara Walker Marshall. He was a Deacon and member of the New Life Church in Shady Shores, and he married Nona Lee Marshall, who preceded him in death, in 1995. He was in the Army, fought in WWII, and was an MP, Corporal, and acting Drill Sergeant until he retired in 1946.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 3 to 5 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11 am at Roselawn Memorial Park.

A.C. is survived by his daughter, Sandra Kay Marshall; son, Kenneth Dale Marshall; sister, Ruby Hess; brother, Cecil Marshall; grandchildren, Alan, Jennifer, and Christopher Sauls, Amber and Lance Marshall; great grandchild, Christopher Sauls II; and two more great grandchildren on the way. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nona Lee Marshall; his parents, Dumas and Clara Marshall; and his daughter, Glenda Gale Marshall.
