Helen Joyce (McEwen) DeVincentis, 68, of Union City died Jan. 26, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Union City.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.

She was born July 29, 1939, in Nashville, daughter of the late Vester and Myrtle (Lawson) McEwen. She was the widow of James DeVincentis, who died in 1983, and had been employed as a waitress.

Survivors include her sister, Velma Montgomery of Union City; two brothers, William McEwen of Romulus, Mich., and Tim McEwen of Belleville, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Loretta Valdez; and two brothers, James McEwen and Terry McEwen.
