George Morris (1927 - 2007)
George was a loving husband, father and friend. He was a retired Aeronautical Engineer and an avid wood carver. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Betty; eleven children and fourteen grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Lassila Funeral Chapels, 551 Grass Valley Highway in Auburn on Tuesday, January 30 from 4 - 7 p.m. and a rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 1, p.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 11600 Atwood Road, also in Auburn. Interment will immediately follow at the New Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made in his name to the Alzheimers Aid Society of Northern California P.O. Box 1824, Sacramento, CA 95812.
