"Millard Dalton, 79, of Bean Station died Friday, July 19.
A member of First Independent Freewill Baptist Church in Bean Station, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Dalton; son, M.C. Dalton; parents, Billy and Margaret Dalton; brothers, Hubert and Henry Dalton; and sisters, Rosa and Ida Dalton.
Surviving are sons, Rev. Clifford Dalton of Mooreburg, Donald and Paris J. Dalton of Morristown, and Dale E. Dalton of Bean STation; daughter, Diane Helton of Morristown; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildred; brother, George Dalton of Mooresburg, and sisters, Ellen Dalton and Bessie Carter of Thorn Hill.
Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at First Independent Freewill Baptist with Rev. Billy Carroll and Rev. Donnie Myers officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
The Mooresburg chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements."
