WILLIAMSTOWN - Richard C. Aukstakalnis, 61, passed away Monday at his home.
Born in Pottsville, October 25, 1949, a son of the late Simon and Mildred Kreiner Aukstakalnis.
Rich was a 1969 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He had been employed by Ingram Micro, Jonestown. He was of the Catholic Faith
In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his brother, Michael "Punk" Aukstakalnis, 1996.
Surviving are his sister-in-law, Linda Aukstakalnis, Williamstown; one niece, Amy Kobularik and her husband Joseph, Tower City; one nephew, Anthony Aukstakalnis and his wife Greer, Williamstown; three great nieces, Meg and Ella Kobularik and Grace Aukstakalnis. He is also survived by many close friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 9th at 10:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc., Tower City with Rev. C. Anthony Miller. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers donations in Rich's memory should be made to the Williamstown EMS, P.O. Box 74, Williamstown PA 17098.
