Dayton Stuart Dimick, 74, died Tuesday, May 16, at the
Bear Lake County Nursing Home in Montpelier
following an extended illness. He was born April 18, 1915, in Wardboro, to Albert Stuart and Maude Effie Dayton
Dimick. He married Gae Lillian Bacon, May 16,1939, in Soda Springs, Idaho. He was raised on a farm and helped his father most of his life. He attended grade school in Wardboro and high school in Montpelier. He worked for Walton Feed for 11 years and Stauffer Chemical Company
for six years. In 1973 he moved to Cokeville, Wy , where
he worked for the Con Nebeker Ranch. During that time he
became disabled.
He is survived by his wife of Montpelier; three sons, Rusty, Albert and Corey, all of Montpelier; one daughter,
Mrs. Randa Payne, Bloomington; one brother, Orval Dimick, Chesterfield; and seven sisters, Vanda Mason, Twin Falls; LaRue Skinner, Butte, Mt.; Adell Black, Georgetown;
Deliliah Hansen, Salt Lake City; Nellie Price and Lulu LaRocco, both of Montpelier; Ruth Kirby Soda Springs; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Cal; and one sister, Mary. Funeral services were held Friday, May 19, at the Dingle LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
