She was a daughter to George L. and Crilla (Gilbert) Shultz. Her husband, Charles Borger, survives.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She worked for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for more than 50 years at Community and Mercy Hospitals and Elderly United. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, Springfield.
