Mr. Orndoff was born September 20, 1899, at Bluff, a son of Jesse M. and Ida Haines Orndoff.
He had spent his early life at Pine Bank and Waynesburg and had operated the Pine Bank General Store at one time. He had resided for 32 years at New Martinsville, W. Va., where he had been employed as a foreman by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. He retired October 1, 1964. Mr. Orndoff was instrumental in organizing the out-board motor boat races at New Martinsville.
He was member of the New Martinsville Moose Lodge and the Pine Bank Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Wildman Orndoff, whom he married May 13, 1920; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Two sisters are deceased.
