Glen graduated from East Central University in Ada with a degree in Business Administrations. He was the owner and operator of Twister Drilling Company in Konawa.
Surviving are his parents, Billy and Judy Akerman of Konawa; grandmother, Beloysa Dobbins of Konawa; one son, Ross Alan Akerman of Konawa; one brother, Allan Ray Akerman of Konawa; one sister, Sherry Annette Jesse of Konawa; one grandson, Lance William Akerman of Konawa; and a host of other family and friends.
Casket bearers will be: Brandon Stoup, Brian Brooks, Rick Pemberton, Maek Reeves, Robert Castleberry, and Jacob Akerman.
Graveside services at Sacred Heart Cemetery, west of Konawa, with Father Matthew Brown, O.S.B. officiating.
