Edith E. Pugh, a resident of Rebold Manor Nursing Home, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at the age of 101. She was born in Francis, Oklahoma on December 15, 1909 to Albert and Mary Susan (Hammett) Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Elmer F. Cathron of Okmulgee, a sister, Roxie Smith of Oklahoma City, husband, O.T. Pugh and a niece, Norma Bruno of Oklahoma City. She was a 50 year member of Southside Tabernacle in Oklahoma City. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Olive Cathron of Okmulgee and nieces, Carol Mattingly of South Carolina and Cheryl Whomble of Okmulgee, a nephew, Quinton Smith of Oklahoma City, great niece Tsinana Bruno of Oklahoma City, and great nephews, Don Bruno of Summer, Washington and Hansen Dirani of Tulsa. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Raymond Doke of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
