MRS. ELLA SMITH DIED IN IOWA CITY MONDAY NIGHT

Mrs. Ella Smith passed away at the University hospital at Iowa City at 8 o'clock, Monday night [May 6, 1940]. Funeral arrangements will be held in Allerton Thursday, May 9, but the arrangements have not been entirely completed. A complete obituary will appear in this paper next week.
