Born June 3, 1928, the daughter of the late Bert and Jenny (Genaro) Sauers in Fort Wayne, she had formerly lived in South Bend and Michigan. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Janelle Coddens; and grandson, Rodney Coddens. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rene C. Coddens.
