Vern Mason, 77, of Pershing, IA; passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Southern Hill Care Center in Osceola, IA. Visitation will begin Tuesday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, also at Williams Funeral Home with Elder Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Pershing, IA.
Vern is survived by four children: Danny (Jean) Mason of Osceola, Joy (Wrecks) Jones, Cindy Mason and Frank Haug both of Pershing, Iowa, Penny (Paul) Merk of Audubon, IA, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are open or may be given to: Southern Hills Care Center in Osceola, IA; or to the Alzheimer's Association.
