New Iberia- Memorial services will be conducted for Thomas Joseph Marshall, age 83, at 2pm on Thursday December 16, 2010 at Holy Family Mausoleum Chapel. Deacon Wade Broussard will officiate the services. Instrument will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum with Military services conducted by VFW post# 1982. A native of Cameron Parish and resident of New Iberia Mr Marshall passed away at 5:40pm on Wednesday December 8, 2010. Mr Marshall was a veteran of the navy who served his country faithfully during WW2. He was a member of the VFW Post# 1982 where he enjoyed helping out at the post. He was employed as an instrumental pipe fitter with union local 106 in Lake Charles for many years until his retirement in 1968. Mr Marshall leaves behind many fond memories for his family to cherish. Mr Marshall is survived by his wife of 49 years Virginia Broussard Marshall of New Iberia, One Daughter Cathrine M Ryan and her husband William of New Iberia. One Son John Marshall and his wife Cheri of Anchorage Alaska. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, William Ryan, Michael Sawyer and his wife Stacey, Nicholas Sawyer and his wife Ashley, Joey Sawyer and his wife Brandy, Seven Great Grandchildren, Lilli, Natalie, Asa, Isaiah, Daylin, Clark, Isabella and one brother Roy Brown of Orange Tx. He was proceeded in death by his parents Henry & Fannye Mae Murphy Marshall, Eleven brother's, George, Charlie, Orlando, Hubert, Tommie, Ray & A.G & Roy.
