CHICOPEE - Anna C. (Cierpial) Goulet, 87, of Chicopee , died on Friday, February 17, 2006 at Wingate of South Hadley. She was a retired thirty one year sewer for the former A. G. Spalding Corp. of Chicopee retiring in 1980. She also worked at the former Westinghouse Electric Corp. of Springfield. Anna was born on May 27, 1918 in Chicopee and lived here all her life. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Agnes (Wisniowski) Cierpial. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr. Anna is predeceased by her husband, Joseph "George" Goulet, who died in 1982 and her daughter, Roberta Beard, who died in 1979. She is survived by two sisters, Helen Wietecha of the Leeds section of Northampton and Amelia Wagoner of Texas, her two loving grandson, John Beard and his wife, Sheila, of Cheterfield, MO and Joseph Beard of Hoosick Falls, NY and four great grandchildren, Christopher, Jeffrey, Gregory and Stephanie. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St., in Chicopee Falls, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 10 am. The burial will be in Fairview Cemetery . Calling hours are on Tuesday from 3 to 7 pm.
