Henry Abbot Zanesville Native Dies
Henry Brown Abbot, 83, native on Zanesville, died Thursday evening at his home at 1368 Arlington avenue, Columbus.
Mr. Abbot was born here, the son of Charles H. and Ella Brown Abbot. He had been a resident of Columbus for several years.
The deceased graduated from Zanesville schools and in 1897 graduated from Princeton university. He was a retired school teacher and was a member of the Trinity Episcopal church in Columbus.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Helen A. Riebel of Worthington; two nephews, Henry Abbot of the home and Theodore Abbot of Boston, Mass.; three nieces, Mrs. Ella Larkin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Mrs. Anna Jenkins of Berkeley, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth Cullmer of Worthington.
The body was removed to the Woodyard funeral home, 255 East State street, Columbus, where friends may call after 6 o'clock Saturday evening.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery here. The cortege is expected to arrive at 12 o'clock with graveside services at the cemetery.
