Raymond Patrick Vogel, 38, a native Nevadan, born May 19, 1972 in Las Vegas, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010. Raymond's courage, his infectious smile and his sweet spirit, will forever be cherished by the hearts of those who have had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Raymond was a retired iron worker and member of Local #433. His greatest joys in life were his children. He loved camping and the great outdoors. Raymond was preceded in death by is grandparents, Evan and Leah Story. Raymond is survived by his beautiful children, daughter, Makenzie Leigh Vogel and son, Kayson Ray Vogel; parents, Bill Lee Vogel Jr.; mother, Joyce Story; grandparents, Bill Lee Vogel Sr. and Patricia Vogel; sisters, Julieann Vogel and Clarissa Matulich; brother-in-law, Frank Matulich; and nephews, Aaron and Andrew Matulich. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12 at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
