Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen McCorkle, age 88, of Elora, TN, who passed away Sunday, August 01, 2010 at the Donalson Skill Care Center, conducted in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Martin officiating. Burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Plevna, AL.

Mrs. McCorkle was a native of Warren Co., TN, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mae Ledman Bailey.

She was a seamstress for Serbin and a member of the Oakley Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Delbert Morris McCorkle in 1995 and 2 brothers: Everette & Burnard Bailey.

Survivors include 6 daughters: Pretrica Wheeler of Huntsville, AL, Amelia Maynard of Ardmore, TN, Joy (Billy) Pullum of Athens, AL, Marcella (Lynn) Scott of Fayetteville, TN, Emily (Jake) Snoddy of Huntland, TN, Christine (Calvin) Roland of Huntland, TN; son: Phillip (Debbie Brandon) McCorkle of Elora, TN; brother: Erskine Bailey of Plevna, AL; very special friend: Eugene Crumbley of Estill Springs, TN; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
