Robert "Bob" Milton Gray, 79, 0f Windhaven Assisted Living, Cedar Falls, died at home Thursday, November 11.
He was born October 16, 1931 in Waterloo, son of Charles and Alice Bunce Gray. He married Marian Parrott on October 19, 1952 in Nashua.
Mr. Gray graduated from Jesup High School, Jesup, then joined the U.S. Marines and served in Korea. he worked at Chamberlain Manufacturing Company as an inspector in research and development for 28 years until his retirement.
Survived by his wife; two sons, Steven (Linnea) Gray of Deer Creek, Minnesota, and Jeffrey Gray of Evansdale; one daughter, Susan (James) Walker of Evansdale; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie (Fred) Fuller of Reynolds, Illinois, Bernice Gray of Milan, Illinois, and Donna Rohrssen of Cedar Rapids ; and one sister-in-law, Florence Parrott of Manchester.
Services 1:00 p.m. Monday at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Military rites conducted by Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138 and Waterloo Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 1623. There is no visitation.
