DALTON, BARNIE L. (B.L.) - age 77 of New Tazewell, TN, was born on February 20, 1929 in Grainger County and passed away on February 22, 2006 at the Saint Mary's Medical Center. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ralph and Birdie Dalton sisters, Drama Brewer and Ora Coffey brothers, Rue, Wager and Dean Dalton and Sherman Scearce. He was a member of Straight Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Betty Jane (Brown) Dalton daughters, Barbara Jendrucko and husband Richard of Knoxville, TN, Deb Dalton, Trish Dalton, Sondra (Sandy) Pratt and husband Randy, of New Tazewell grandchildren, David Ramsey and wife Angie of Knoxville, Beth Cosby and husband Michael Blake and Nolan Pratt of New Tazewell great granddaughter, Allie Cosby special niece that he loved like a daughter, Carlene Loop and husband Lew Walton of Knoxville, TN brother, Gordon Dalton of Morristown brother-in-law, Rondie Brewer of Sharps Chapel sister-in-law, Betty Dalton of Talbot and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday February 24, 2006 at the Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state 30 minutes before service. Burial in the Burch Cemetery. Ministers: Rev. Hollis (Vern) Dunsmore, Rev. Jerry Epperson and Rev. Jimmy Poore. Singers: The Ray Bull Singers Pallbearers: Blake Pratt, David Ramsey, Michael Cosby, Allen Dalton, Anthony Brewer, Doug Dalton, and David Cantwell.
